FKA Twigs unveils the new Nike campaign and a highly original video for which she was the artistic director. In it we see an intoxicating choreography of different dancers and athletes including Saskia Horton, a krumping specialist, and Jay Kirton, the karate world champion. For FKA Twigs there was a need to illustrate a message that’s all about surpassing yourself: “I chose a group of incredible athletes who take their corporality incredibly seriously and who have their own idea of style, in order to encourage people to lead a healthy lifestyle and understand, through all sports, that they can become a better version of themselves,” she emphasises. She’s also responsible for the music with its vibrating energy pulsing through the campaign video, a mind-blowing electro that reminds us of her medium-length film "Soundtrack 7".
