Highly anticipated by all R’n’B fans and in particular those of the singer from Atlanta, Summer Walker’s latest project, Life on Earth, released on July 10th is an EP lasting 16 minutes made up of five tracks. It follows the album, Over It, released in 2019,
which shook up the music industry by breaking the record for a newcomer’s first album by a female R’n’B artist and getting more plays in one week for any artist of the genre with almost 155 million audio streams, outperforming Beyoncé and her album Lemonade (around 115 million).
With this new opus, that should fill the time while waiting for her next studio album, we find three featurings, one with PartyNextDoor (My Affection) who had previously collaborated with Rihanna on her track Believe It and two others with the producer No1- Noah (SWV, White Tee). Summer Walker confirmed her talent once again last month when the rising star gave an intimate performance of the title Come Thru – an extract from Over It – with the singer Usher at the BET Awards.
