Alessandro Michele and Gucci organise three big exhibitions

Art

In partnership with A Magazine Curated By, the artistic director at the house of Gucci Alessandro Michele is organising a trilogy of photography exhibitions to take place in Hong Kong, Beijing et Taipei over the summer of 2017.

To celebrate the A Magazine Curated By Alessandro Michele released in November 2016, a series of exhibitions plunge us into the Italian designer’s world by revealing three portfolios of female photographers published in this special edition. Starting with the young Petra Collins and her intimate family portraits shot in Budapest to be shown at Art Basel Hong Kong, it will then be the turn of Coco Capitán and her now emblematic images of Rome and Florence to take Beijing by storm. The final stop on this photographic journey will be with Gia Coppola and her exclusive fashion shoot done at the Joshua Tree National Park, California to be unveiled in Taipei. In addition to these exhibitions, several objects and prints presented in the pages of A Magazine Curated By Alessandro Michele will be shown for the first time in a cabinet of curiosities by Dan Thawley, curator of the show and editor in chief of A Magazine Curated By.
