Découvert par Kanye West, Travis Scott compte aujourd’hui parmi les rappeurs et producteurs les plus respectés de son temps, tant pour les beats ravageurs qu’il offre à Rihanna et consorts, que pour ses propres albums, arty et taillés au millimètre. Malgré son train de vie royal, entre jet privé et villa à Los Angeles, le natif du Texas reste focalisé sur son but : rafler des Grammy Awards, et affirmer son empreinte sur son époque. Entre deux révélations, il annonce en exclusivité dans Numéro Homme la création de son propre label.

On his new label, Cactus Jack Records: “I’m not doing it to have financial control over my music. I want first and foremost to help other artists, launch new names, to provide opportunities. I want to do for them what happened to me, but better. By better I mean no bullshit. No lying to the artists about album release dates or the budgets of videos and albums.”
